Hi All,

I've not posted in this forum before. I've had my Canon 400D for a few months now and recently got rid of the kit lens and am working with two Sigma lenses now; 17-70mm F2.8-4.5 macro, and 70-200mm F2.8 APO EX DG macro. I really like the Sigmas so far though I haven't used the 70-200 much yet - I'm off to the Cropredy festival on Thursday and hope to get some decent use out of it there.

Here's one I took this morning. I'm still finding my way round post-processing; this has been cropped a bit, had saturation and exposure tweaked a bit, and sharpened a small amount in Lightroom. Any comments please?

Thanks

Paul.

It's too "centered", and not really macro is it?

I took this with a 50mm, no processing (straight jpeg), just cropped a little.

I guess I don't quite understand what Macro is then :) The flowers are very small - the cluster in that photo is 2 inches in diameter and I was practically bumping my lens off them.

Thanks for the comments.

Paul.
