Because a lot of people will be going to bed early or spending time with family, not going out getting hammered and the next day you are up early and eating loads of food.

Getting mixed up with last year when the last friday was a week before xmas.

I'm not out tonight, got to pick up my car from the garage early doors tomorrow and it's been expensive so not much money to spare until next paydate - the only bright side is that I've already bought pretty much all Christmas presents that I need to.
