Made me chuckle...but do we really have to dumb down so much!!

It can be part of planning and it looks scruffy so instead of people thinking look at that unfinished bit with weeds, rubble and logs they stick a sign up.

Site I'm on at the moment has a hibernacular in its biodiversity area and we will be putting up a sign but without the explanation.

This politically correct fap fest in the UK is just farcical. The sign is completely pointless, it's just there for smug liberal ****s to fap about how progressive and green they are. I have more biodiversity in my back garden that that clump of trees does.

And defining what BIODIVERSITY is underneath for the peons is just so typical of these condescending SLFs (smug liberal ****s).

I really don't think political correctness has anything to with a sign explaining what biodiversity means.

To the person suggesting pumping radiation et.c. into the area. I'm not entirely sure your methodology is correct :P. There's a chance that your idea could greatly increase diversity. There's also a chance that you give every organic in the area horrendous cancers and they all drop dead. There's also the possibility that you'd end up with a ravenous omnivore super chipmonk that predates every other species in the area to extinction :P lol.......maybe.

Better off using introductions of species' who do not compete for environmental niches and are known to co-habitate in other areas :P.

Back on Topic: I like this sign. It may be mildly patronising, but it is educational and makes people aware of environmental initiatives and what we can do to keep the planet green :)
