I dont understand the point of G440... I mean add another 10 and get 530 or 540.. perfectly usable CPU`s... surely 1.6 will only run on something like windows 98???

/Facepalm.
SB 1.6GHZ could probably run W8 comfortably.

That said, I'd rather put the extra to an SB dual core and I find Intels pricing to be whack.

I got Windows 7 running on a Pentium III 733MHz and 128MB of SDR RAM. Dont get me wrong, it was damn near impossible to make it work, and it was fairly laggy, but it worked nonetheless.

less than 128MB doesnt work too well. I tried 64mb, no success. Also no success installing it on a VIA Cyrix III.

yeah, i had it running BF3 on ultra with ultra ultra super ultra super HD textures, on 6 2560x1440 screens and it was getting over 9000 frames per second!
