I'd suggest you find any sort of job so you can help out your mum until September and then apply for all the apprenticeships you can find.

I'd have to do a Maths A-Level which is 2 years (there are no maths a-level evening courses within 20 miles, not that I can find anyway) then 3 years at uni, so I would be at least 26 before I'm out.
