I will wait for now too I believe. What's the first Mafia like is it worth playing or should it be avoided?

My favourite game that has come out in the past year.

If you like the setting ie, 40s/50s/60s its an awesome game.

Yeah its not gta, it hasn't got a million pointless side missions like taking some fat eastern european dude out for burgers and fries at the local fast food joint. Thats the difference.

Hmmmm tempting...

Is it ok to play with mouse and keyboard only? I would expect a gamepad would be better for this sort of game.

Far better with mouse and keyboard. Then again I have always been a PC Gaming and haven't owned a console as such since PS1 days.

Can't imagine playing anything using a crosshair with a gamepad, so yes it is fine with kb+mouse. When driving you can also use the mouse to freelook.

My advice is buy it now, do the story, have fun with it, install the free ride mod and have some more fun, and also get joes adventures when your done for some more gameplay.

Well bought it and I've discovered the first pc game to crash to desktop in years, it's random and requires a reboot once it's happen as I get sound and graphical corruption.
