Magician?

I used to watch a show on tv that had a magician getting cut up and stuff, and I can't remember what it was called, or who he was, in the hopes that I can find some videos on youtube or something, i think he died doing a car stunt getting run over - don't quote me on that though... Any help?

No, not paul daniels - i think it was kids tv, but he got like loads of knives stuck into him and things, black magician or something I'm not sure, and I can't find a video - I just remember bits of one trick that I really loved...
