I'm just gobsmacked at how some posters on here think and the sort of warped view of the world they have. Kids have been killed in a terror attack and 'its's the Tories' - that is just a ridiculous post and frankly shameful reflection of you.

Slightly cynical but if the government can provide "strong and stable" leadership during this then they'll get the votes...
 
Nail bombs have been used by several groups, Irish the "anti gay" bombers so no reason to think that some other nutter cause wouldn't use it
 
Security services can only intercept so much and usually end up snaring 'organised' cells after being tipped off or gaining intel before an attack can be carried out. Sadly there's almost nothing they can do to stop lone actors like Khalid Masood (London terror attack) who carry out unsophisticated attacks as these occurrences can be done spontaneously and require little planning if at all.
 
Oh dear. Saw this on sky news just as was going to look the the papers reviews. I suspected some sort of electrical device /amplifier etc. But 19 dead NOT GOOD:(

The beginning of the thread is people falling over themselves to say "probably not a terrorist attack; just balloons". Next it'll be "nothing linking this to islamic terrorism, could have been the Samaritans!"

But these people are free to have a voice, whereas anyone who suggested it could have been islamic terrorism would have their posts moderated.
 
I have deleted some post suggesting that politicians will try and gain capital from this, if that repeated then you may as well go to bed as you won't be posting here again tonight

BBC reporting this again about oldham...

Royal Oldham Hospital has told BBC Radio Manchester that it is in lockdown "due to the Manchester incident".
 
I cannot believe that someone's response to this is pretty much "It's the bloody Tories this, murdering scummy Tories".
