Manfrotto 718B leg clamp failure.

Setting my tripod up I hear a loud *crack* when closing the top leg locking clamp on my manfrotto 718B tripod:

Not even a year old, so I guess I'll get back in touch with the shop I bought it from for an exchange (after removing the camo tape from the top legs!)

-- Edit -- Guess time must fly! The tripods actually 14 months old. Didn't realise I had it for so long till I dug out the sales reciept. Still might email the shop to see what they say.

Looking at the manfrotto website, they have a pdf catalogue of spares. Looks like the leg clamps are available as spares, so I'll try find a uk spares distributer and order up a leg clamp (or two for spare spares)

Raymond, I'll give Johnson's photographic a ring to see if they could get a spare leg locking clamp.

Meanwhile:
