Since we're guessing as to what happened - Bet the suspect had gone round to beat up some useless slapper ex-gf/wife, threatened her, then the poor off duty police officer got involved and the **** pulled a gun.

Just read the police statment on the bbc web site. It states his car has been found and he no longer poses a risk to the public.

How can they say he no longer poses a risk to the public because his car has been found?

I live not far from Writtle (where they said they'd found the body) and am pretty sure I can hear a helicopter hovering over that way.
Dunno if it's a police one though.

They've confirmed the body was of the killer. Strange to see things like this happen so close to home.

Yeah they found him dead at 830 this morning in a church yard with wounds to the head, he had a handgun

Wish the police got him tho so he would have rot in prison
