Manhunt After Police Officer Shot Dead in Clacton-on-Sea

I'll wait for the facts to come out. Can't trust anything that comes from the Police, press or rumours this early on as recent high profile cases have shown.

So outside of the press, police or rumors how are you going to find out these "facts"?

Short of going down there and finding them yourself those are your three options.

Wait for the dust to settle and see what the story is then, rather than immediately after the fact or even during.

Remember when Ian Tomlinson was pushed and there was "no footage of it"?
Remember when Mark Duggan shot at the Police?
Remember when Jean Charles De Menezes was a terrorist who ignored the Police?

ah my bad i didn't see the "this early on" part :p

Thought you'd gone barmy and were going have magick do an astral projection to find out :p

Yes waiting till later is sensible.

Oh I'm anti Police as they come after their actions in recent years, but I'm not a paranoid conspiracy theorist. The Police will lie, they will get away with it, no one will be held accountable, that's just the system we have at the moment. I believe the truth comes out, it just doesn't mean anything other than what happened, no one will be held responsible.

Doesn't feek own a selection of handguns legally?
I have a selection of handguns on my FAC, that is correct. They're section 5 firearms but held under a section 1 authority. I also have a .45 black powder pistol which is huge, heavy and takes ten minutes to load but boy does it go 'boooooom and kick like a mule.

I was able to collect my daughter around half eleven last night, had to go through the Police roadblock to get her, that's how close to this incident she was so we were pleased to get her home.

What does on your FAC mean? What are section 5 firearms and what does section 1 mean?

Don't know anything about gun law in the UK really. Just curious.

Sec 1 are the likes of rifles that fire bullets and pistols that fire the same ( when they could be owned legally ).

Sec 5 are prohibited weapons which include a wide range of weaponry such as pepper spray, taser and other things like grenade launchers and fully automatic and military weapons. You must have the authority of the Home Secretary to carry or use them.
