I will admit that in the original thread of this I thought that ALT was a good idea pre midnight with unlimited post midnight. However when its implemented like this its a joke. 20mb? Just checking your email could push you into badge territory.

its quite poor.. i reside currently somewhere between burstfire + entanet (neither company is actually sure which yet) lol so have to tread carefully around the 15gb transfer limit on burstfire ... or ALT on entanet

want to migrate away already

Iam having a terrible time with Enta at the moment ( not sure if its enta fault mind you)

The Bangor exchange got updated by BT on monday and ever since my PPP
session keeps "dropping" ( session shows as still active line sync is rock steady but no traffic )

Might be up for a few hours but it drops eventually , have phoned Enta 5 times this week about it but no joy :-(

I'm pretty unhappy with the way Enta are moving now but i dont have any alternative with such a high usage allowance for under £20

How do I find out if I've got a mark against me? I'm with ukfsn.

Yesterday I had to do an xp rebuild and must have downloaded at least 800mb of updates during the day... And I also left steam downloading overnight :eek:

Afaik tho, I'm still being billed for the old 30/300 package and the usage pie on ukfsn supports this. I usually get billed on the 6/7th of each month.

Ukfsn's website is currently showing the old prices and packages too

There is a new status page available which shows if you have your Blue Peter badge or not. Unfortunately I don't have the URL to hand but take a look at the Enta forum on ThinkBroadband, there's a post in there which has the URL.

EDIT: In fact go to the link in the OP and scroll about 5 posts down, the link's there.

The password you have provided is not recognised by our system. You must use your broadband account username and password. This is the same as you use in your router configuration.
Use the following format to access this information.
http://noc.enta.net/centralpipe/?un=username&pw=password

Only completely unlimited broadband in the UK.

Does not work with any combination i can think of, i've copied my adsl router login details from the ukfsn site and it still doesnt have it. Bloke at work on ukfsn is getting the same.

Hmm. I did have to look twice, but mine went in ok?

I just copied my adsl login from my router and manually typed in my password - it went straight through after my 1 minute wait :rolleyes:

Hi, you only get Sky broadband for £10 a month if you take Sky TV package + Sky Talk + Sky broadband, other wise £15 a month. The Sky package all 3 cost’s me £42 + calls a month.

I doubt there are many folk on Enta at exchanges which are enabled for Sky/Be/02 or similar LLU carriers.

Well apparently i was flagged yesterday @8 10 am.Strange that as the pc was turned off @7 am and was not turned back on till 5pm when all i did was surfing till 10pm when i started dl
This system is seriously ****** up.
Still on the lookout for a new ISP
What is the min speed they will noble you too with that ALT?
I only squeeze 2mb now for the last few months(too far from exchange with carp line)

Where are you working out the 8.10am from? The status page I'm looking at only shows the date for which you're marked as a high user. The only time I see is the date and time that the page was refreshed.
