Massa and Alonso to start as equals 2011

Nothing wrong with a bit cheating. As long as you finish first and get away with it. ;)

All the top drivers understand this. If you try and do everything honestly without pushing the boundaries of every possible area you can gain an advantage over your rivals, you are unlikely to win.

I can't actually recall Alonso cheating...perhaps you can enlighten me when he cheated?

when did alonso cheat did he slash the tyres of other peoples cars or anything like that i dont think so massa was well out of the title hunt it was only smart to let alonso true massa is only a shadow of his former self when he almost won the title in 2008.

Lol, if massa believes one bit that ferrari will treat him equally at the beginning of next season then he really does deserve to be a second driver! If he ever wants to be treated equally then he has to leave ferrari, simple as.

If you are talking about the intentional crash of Piquet Jr, that was an action he knew nothing off and was masterminded solely by Piquet Jr. himself. ;)

He was a victim of that situation, not a conspirator :D

Too right. Alonso drove a fantastic race in Singapore 2008 and was rewarded with a win for his troubles.

You're joking right? You don't think that Alonso is clever enough to have queried that 'strategy' of pitstops or had a hand in it? I don't think you give him enough credit, he's more intelligent than that.

I have absolutely no idea if Alonso knew what was planned, but nobody can take away the fact that he drove a great race, to win in a car which was not the best on track, especially when you consider that Hamilton (top line driver) was in a fast car.

He only won because of the Safety car caused by Piquets crash, without it he would have been nowhere. Without a doubt the driver of the race was Rosberg, who finished second, beating Hamilton into 3rd, even though he had a Stop-Go penalty. He might even have won the race without the Stop-go, as he was ahead of Alonso before having to come in for the penalty. He got the penalty for being forced to come into the pits under a safety car for fuel when it was against the rules to do so (a safety car period which Piquet caused, remember.)

You also misunderstood Dutch Guys post, he was obviously being sarcastic, not even the biggest Alonso/Renault fan in the world would say that it was solely Piquets doing, and that Alonso had no clue what was going on. How could Alonso not have known what was going on, he pitted very early, which put him nearly at the back of the pack, you must think he's brain dead if you think he didn't know what was going on.

This is something that we shall never ever find out.
