Just got back from watching Massive Attack play in Brixton, and i was amazed! was truly awesome!

the set was wicked, i can only remember a handful but they were mostly from Protection and Mezzanine!!!! WOW!

This is how it broke down:
7pm: Checkpoint 303 DJ Set, 7:45pm: Lio Trio Joubran, 8:30pm: Spirtualized Acoustic, 9:20pm: Massive Attack.

The Checkpoint 303 was sweet! Lio Trio Joubran were 3 palenstinians brothers. 1 of the brothers was first person to be accepted and graduate from palestine in a really famous music school in Italy (dont know which one).

My friends and I wanted to go and see them at the Carling Academy in Birmingham, they were there this week I think. We spent too much time talking about it and waiting to see if other people wanted to go instead of getting tickets, though.

They were on Live from Abbey Road the other night, performing Angel, Mezzanine and Teardrop. They looked and sounded great on that, I can only imagine they would be great to see live. :(
