Mates new toy

Well was visiting one of the sites I look after on thursday and a mate who works there had his new toy out. He had a big power Scooby that he tried to sell me before I got my CTR and he mentioned that he had something special on the way and here it is :cool:

(Sorry for poor pics, were taken on work phone)

Twin Turbo RX7 with less than 40k on the clocks, and apparently pushing out around 450bhp

Will have to be blagging a passenger run out in that shortly!

On another note, I'm off out on the back of another mates new R1 in an hour our so for my first pillion run on it. Will be heading up over Hartside pass so no doubt I'll be ****ing myself quite a bit

Although I hoping it'll not be as bad as the pillion run I did on the back of his Mille round the Nurburgring :eek:

Yeah, he says its an absolute handfull

Going from a Scooby that'll go anywhere at pretty much any speed to a rwd beast like this will take a bit of getting used to I'd of thought!

I've been in a ~250bhp one and they feel ruddy quick then!

It's one of these cars I'd love to own but I know I couldn't realistically afford to run it properly.

I would hazard a guess that if the car has just been bought then it was "ruined" by someone else.

It's only got two new bumpers a wing and a bonnet, hardly buttured is it? Nothing that can't be put back to standard. I do quite like that front bumper however, and bonnet could have some cooling benefit. The guages are marmite, but there's no realy better place to put them and if you're running big power, they're pretty necessary.

Looks horrible:

Dodgy bodykit, stupid bonnet, ridiculous wing, CHROME ALLOYS!, about eight gauges on the dash,

I'm sure it's fast with 450hp, but I hate it.

They're Work Emotion CR-Kai Wheels, very Jap and they're polished, not "chrome" so very lightweight and look great IMO.

Funny how silly people get with a couple of bumpers and rear wing.

Go through the Pistonheads classifieds and check the majority of RX7's there then call this one butchered
