May 2012=Expensive month for PC Games

D3 already paid for indirectly (annual pass from warcraft) and the only other one I'll be playing that is released in May will be Tera, which I have paid for as I pre-ordered already. Should keep me busy for a while!

Company of heroes, Starcraft 2, Rome:TW and Supreme commander were the last ''great'' strategy games imho.

And in the simulation/building/tycoon genre, we need games like RCT1/2, Openttd, Railroad Tycoon series, Theme Hospital, Sim City 4, Anno1404, Pharaoh, Caesar 3.

Agree with this. Command & Conquer 3 was good too (not the expansion though, that was lame). Heart of the Swarm is coming out this year and should be a great addition to the Starcraft series. Think it's coming out a bit later than May though.

We've also got SimCity 5, Rome 2 (most likely) and C&C Generals 2 to look forward to sometime in the next year or so. Here's hoping they're all as awesome as their predecessors.

Publishers are rushing to get the following finished before the annual summer games drought:

Street Fighter x Tekken
(First ever Tekken game on PC. Must buy for fighter fans).

Resident Evil ORC
(Left 4 Dead style SP & Co-Op squad FPS set in & around some of the iconic locations from Resident Evil2 + 3 but now obviously in a 3 D map).

Diablo 3
(probably the highest selling PC game in 2012 by far. Will it sell lots of extra PC hardware as well I wonder!)

Max Payne 3
(DX11 support confirmed using the RAGE engine that powered GTA-IV lets hope they optimised it a little this time).

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Future Solder
(looks interesting could be hit or miss though).

Dirt Showdown
(not a game I would personally buy or play as Codemasters are up to their usual recycle everything but the kitchen sink tactics here!).

After this little lot there is little of note coming out until September as the summer slump is as usual being used as a dumping ground for the lesser games although I hope to see Alan Wake American Nightmares on Steam in late summer but who knows what else is coming out & not yet announced as a digital only title.

Going to be in June for PC I am afraid to say

Max Payne3 might finally be a decent PC game with all the bells n whistles our hardware deserves to get on every single release AFAIC!! Those DX11 shots show more than usual detail lets hope it translates to something playable as R* are not exactly known for PC optimisation & this is one of the reasons why RDR will never appear on PC as they had the team working on Max Payne3 & GTA5.

Definitely getting D3, spent enough of my life playing D2 + LOD, I just can't not get it.

MP3 is a maybe buy, really do want to play it, but not sure if I'll have the time with the rest of my life being in the way as well as D3

Max Payne 3 is out June 1st. :p

I think Resi Evil:RC would be better if you consistently played with 4 friends you've known for a while.

Otherwise it's just another shootymangame.

being a june game doesn't help me, that's when all my money runs out of my bank account to keep people alive (tax, insurance, mot, kid all within a week of each other, yey!)

Yeah C&C3 wasn't bad, I preferred RA3 to be better though, always liked US vs Soviets more than GDI vs NOD, but they messed up RA3 :(.
In Red Alert you need ore fields, not ore mines.

Resource points are for Generals...

Sc5 is the only one I really want to see the end result in.
FINALLY zones instead of plops again, but I've seen things I didn't like either like no more graphs and stuff, I'm truly hoping it won't be dumbed down from 4.

Rome 2 will hopefully be good, I really didn't like Empire or Shogun 2, Generals was fun too, hope it'll be good.

Didn't know about Resident Evil ORC so will be looking to get this :)

D3: WAITED SO LONG FOR THIS ONE, but not sure if it will compare to how good D1+2 was :o

Max Payne 3: Somewhat interested in this one I did like Max Payne 1 + 2 a lot but again.. not sure if it can compare :)
