may have to get SKY need reassuring

done mine, was giving the dlink 240s or something, ran abit of jave software, get my username and password and out in into my netgear dg834gt and connecting and broadband back up, been down since 27th as sky took so long to send the router. not te internet working but lines been capped at 7614kbs but still in the 10 day period so hopefully it will go up to 17500kbs soon as thats what i got with o2 bb.

Sorry about spelling above. Spoke to Belfast this morning (sky tech) and he done something and not getting 16500 or so, still about a meg slower than o2 but I will start messing with my snr using the dg team software so hopefully il hit my 18000 again.

landline = £11 (approx)
line activation = £10 (approx)
BE = £18 (approx)

The line activation (if applicable) should be just a one off fee, so your montly fee will be around £29 ish.

Sky are good if you already have Sky TV, however they have slightly higher pings and may be a little slower at peak times.

Been with sky for a few months now, never really suffered any slowdowns at peak times, i'd agree the pings aren't as good as some others but unless your a hardcore gamer where pings really do matter and i'm talking 500 yard + headshots then I wouldn't worry.
Dragged down 11gb today and never seen under 10mbit speeds all day on an 11mbit downstream.
