Maybe asked before cleaning cloth interior

What is the best method/product for removing stains and marks from cloth interior of car. Kids seemed to have made the rear seats "pimps palace" so am looking to try to restore it to at least a reasonable standard .. one good or maybe bad thing is the cloth is dark blue almost navy in colour.

So any suggestions apart from the obvious like ***** the kids I welcome

A shampoo-vacuum thingy for sofas and the like worked wonders last time I done it.
