MBP 13.3" Sleeve suggestions

I've searched forum and found different suggestions. I am just looking to find out what your opinions are, and photos if you have some.

I am looking for something that's going to be a snug fit, decent quality and cheap. (of course the MBP isn't cheap so I don't want to skimp on it, but I am poor and going NZ in 3 weeks :cool:

).

I wouldn't bother with a simple sleeve, get some protection on it. I went for the Booq Vyper XS2 but they have a newer one out the XS3 which is specific for the Unibody MBP.

The reason I just want a sleeve is purely to stop scratch and dirt. I'll check these out though thanks

I've got an Incase one for mine. It fits like a glove and has a nice furry inside.

Ahh I love the way it looks I don't want to put a black cover all over it... plus I'm not convinced as I can see overheating issues. Do you have one?

Yeah I have one, have noticed zero heat build up issues, because I find the ALU body to act as one large heat sink it tends to dissipate through that.
Not as an insulating layer.

It's split into two sections so you can use solely the bottom cover, or the top.

I got the Tucano Second Skin £25 for the 13" version.

Fits very snugly and there is a little flap that goes over to stop the zip rubbing against the MBP. It also has a suede effect surface so it doesn't slip around.

I had a incase soft sleeve. Dont know how but my macbook got a dent in it while in the sleeve and in a laptop bag. I since bought a Speck snap on hard cover for it though. Think its ace personally. Dont have to keep taking it out and putting it back when u want to use it.

Ports aren't covered but I've not had a problem with dirt/dust build up in them.

Speck is very similar to the incase job. They are very convenient, not having to worry about scratching the bottom etc.

I was thinking of getting an incase originally but I read somewhere that it only allows you to open the screen to no more than 90 degrees.

It was very quick, I think it was under a week and they marked the value of the item down for me just to *ahem* help it through customs.
