McDonald's worker attacked, bystanders and colleagues do nothing.

I love the comments section on OP's link

"The Lincolnshire Police should hire the Daily Mail to carry out their investigations"

Lincolnshire Police "On arrival, Officers found that one staff member had been involved and the other men had left the area. A search was carried out for them but they could not be traced"

The Daily Mail "The Mother of the two Men, who were allegedly Brothers, issued an apology on Facebook for her Sons actions"

Lollll!

Trouble is, everybody now knows (Or at least believes) that if they did step in and one of the little toerags got a bloody nose, Guess who would be arrested! :/
This.
You are gonna be done for assault
If you knocked one of these ****Ing c words out, which h they completely and utterly deserve and I pray to God they try it on one day with the wrong bloke and get mauled.

Could accidentally destroy the CCTV evidence with help of the staff in that case.
WaY too many cameras in the world these days. It really strikes a chord with me this crap. I took a 5 on 1 beating at a kfc when I was a lad. I put ones head through a glass display but succumbed to the other 4.
I am very hard, :p. No I'm just very big and was the target of angry drunk, small man syndrome idiots. Tore my lip up and bruised like hell but meh.

I stepped to stop them racially abusing the staff. So o had their testement for the police, for what it was worth. 5x £80 fines for public disorder or some crap

Standing around like frightened sheep. What a nation of pussies this country has been moulded into.

It's a nation wide problem, everyone is a stranger to each other, our national identify is slowly being corrupted and destroyed, there is little to no camaraderie among people, people are scared to act and so the bystander effect happens.

That said, I would only started to help when the fists started to be thrown after that little pushing match.

Of course you would, it's really easy to say you would when you aren't there or indeed sitting behind a screen. Knew someone would say this eventually.

The reality is that all those burly men standing around them did nothing, and so would you. It's more likely that the selfishness wrought by decades of policies began by Madame Thatcher (God Bless her soul), has culminated in a lack of care for each other... because who cares... you have your own issues to sort out, like getting that 99p burger before you feel mighty hungry.

Not everyone is sensitive and softskinned as you.

It's not the first time that I gotten involved in a public disturbance, some of us care about others.

maccy d employees on peanuts why would you risk your health for it ? thats the heartless reply but most logical reply. people just dont care now days. anyone can be a hero but you dont know if they just put a knife in you. the person wasnt badly hurt escalting it may of made the 2 guys do something worse to someone else or the same person.

me personally if i knew the person as a friend id help.if it was someone i didnt know or know the situation wouldnt do anything. you dont know whats happened before hand. when you been in many situations similar.you know what might happen next. prime eg here.

everyone can go on the hero thing but just be prepared if it goes wrong. thats why many dont help now days. you dont know what random person has.or will do.

many keyboard warriors would obviously take down the assailents with one solid kick to the head.

Exactly this. It's very easy to sit watching a video thinking I could have done X or Y. But things flare up very quickly, and you have to make a very fast decision on weather you want to take that risk.

It was just those two fighting, but there could have been many more people in the restaurant who knew them. Quite often more people getting involved just makes everything worse for everyone.

The employee done remarkably well to stand his ground. I hope his employer do the right thing and compensate him. McDonald's just seems to be a magnet for trouble these days. Staff should be protected.
