MDA Pro + update ROM

Hi all

I have a MDA Pro and have heard that the installed T-Mobile ROM is bloated and slow. Is it possible to flash the ROM with a generic ROM? Is this worthwhile?

It can be done and loads of people have done it but no one actually wants to help directly its quite strange ive been trying for a month for some one to tell me in step by step instructions what to do

I guess we will have to wait for the official T-Mobile ROM update (apparently the German version is just out so hopefully it wont be too long

Gavin - have bought a case/cover for it yet?

Snap - i am using the orginal case too and not sure I would benefit from buying a new one because its not inside it too often . Your lucky you can access 3g because I have terrible reception where i live (County Down, Northern Ireland). I have read some posts on the net that say a 'radio' upgrade will help reception so I guess ill have to wait for the T-Mobile ROM update. Do you know if you can buy an external aeriel? I believe it is very very difficult to source the appropriate connector to run an external aeriel? Have you any access to this info? Cheers mate.
