Homo-eroticism for the win!

They're all good, processed very well. Not sure about what I assume to be some kind of splatter brush used on #2.

I think #4 is the most interesting composition wise, with #3 close behind

edit - apparently one is missing.

For reference - by #4 I mean the top half of your body with hand forward, #3 looking through your fingers, #2 your torso and #1 the standard head shot.

i like the black drop. how did you do it so dark? and with the flash?
what lens? settings... did you use?

the 2nd one has a X square so error viewing that.

I think the second shot has more atmosphere than the others. It's a decent crop aswell as it adds to the lighting in the shot.

I LOL'd at Fstop's obvious joke comment, but yeah good series very well exposed, if that was a set you did of/for someone else I'm sure they'd be bought. Interested in lens/settings too.

The backdrop is actually my navy blue duvet draped over my backdrop stand.

I shot at 1/200th second to elimate ambient light (hence the dark background) then used the strobes close and at low power so as to light myself, but not contaminate the ambient.

Blimey. Wasn't expecting toplessness! More! LOL.

Anyhow, fancy explaining what the splatters are in pics 2 and 3? At first I thought they were tattoos but then noticed they weren't in the other pics...

EDIT: I also forgot to add that I always find B&W brings out men's bodies better than colour, especially when there's a bit of body hair. It highlights the hair and the skin in such striking contrast whereas the finer details get a bit lost in colour shots. Plus the contours of six-pack abs and stuff stand out more in B&W.

They were just little splatters I added in photoshop to add a bit of "something" to the images. No real reason other than to add to the whole grungy look those particular images have :)

I will be getting a tattoo soon though :D

Yeah, I can actually see those kind of prints getting published in fashion mags and whathaveyou. Almost typical of a Calvin Klein or D&G shot.

It's good when a photo prompts discussion and you were saying you were going for a grunge look. To me, in order to get a bit more grunge-y (and I'm trying not to sound too much like a perve here :p) you should lose the NEXT undies. Wear the jeans just a tiny bit lower so you can see a bit more hair but not so you can see anything of your family allowance. LOL.

omg, you pervert ;)
That's good advice and I'll give that a shot next time I do something like this.

I'm also going to remove the spots to see what people make of the shot without.
