Mechanic drove car whilst in for work

My car got driven 4 miles whilst it was in having a bodykit fitted, by an approved bodyshop as well. Kicked up a massive stink with Porsche, was told that it was routine to road test the car after any kind of "bodywork" (which I thought was garbage). At the end of the day though what can you do?

Slap yourself for installing a bodykit on a Porsche?

Are you for real?

If it was at Porsche, the drivers will drive Porsche cars EVERY DAY, I doubt they took your car for a hoon.

Its vital to road test a car after fitting any bodywork, any piece not functioning/mounted properly is a serious safety issue, an item getting caught out by buffering at speed could rip itself off and kill someone in a worse case scenario.

We have two garages about 1/2 mile apart, the MOT ramp is at the other but we still book in MOT's and run them down there and back, no one seems to care too much about this. The 'new' computer system also goes does every other day of the week causing issues.
