Media PC - plasma not coming back on..

When I leave my media pc for a while, and switch off the plasma, when I comr back to it the screen won't wake. The pc is still operable but no screen. I have to unplug the hdmi cable and put it back in again before it wakes. this doesn't happen however, if I leave the TV on (screensaver just kicks in).

Any idea how to resolve this as it's rather annoying having to either unplug the hdmi, or leave it on which is not good for my electricity bill.

mine does exactly the same thing

do you have a media centre remote?
i have to hit Standby to but the PC into sleep mode, then press it again to wake it up, the pic then shows

oh, another thing i am meaning to try - turn off monitor power saving on the PC so it the monitor never turns off, and just set a black screen saver? screensavers wake up fine i think

I've been through all the power saving stuff. I thought it might be trying to turn it off too, but still same problem

or just plasma off then on?
