Media Streaming

Hey,
Just a future looking question here.

Over the past few years my mum has been recording films from the tv and burning them onto dvd's and storing them. We now have a pretty large collection of them and they are taking up lots of room (not a major issue at the moment though)

Is there any way that I can get a HDD which I can attach to our home network and rip the dvd's onto them and allow each person in the house stream them to a tv?

Must be NAS box out there somewhere that can do that.

Actually hold up, you mean like directly to a tv without a pc attached, thats gonna be hard.
