Looks bloody awsome

As usual, full of historical americanisms, such as spy shot of 40 strong unit of dismounted Teutonic Knight generals standing around the yard in their winged and horned Prussian heavy armoured riders headgear but without their capes. I'd love that campaign....

Im talking proper war with machine guns, tanks, nades, etc. Basically medal of honor stuff here or bf2.

Company of heros?

IMO theres not enough Medieval games around. Especially ones tjhat dont have Mythological crap in them

I agree, annoys me when they release medieval games with mythological stuff in them. Especially when they 'succeeded' age of empires II with Age of Mythology!!

Is there not enough games like that already?

Not really any ww2 type games in the play style of rome tw series. As in large maps forts (could be citys) with command of groups of tactical units and can have massive (thousands of units) type battles on both sides.

COH is small very small and nothing like rome series games engine and style of play.

Only thing close is sup commander but thats not exactly ww2 or the grouped units type thing.

But even in WW2 the only times you got 1000s of units in the one place were landings and invasions

It could work. Instead of assassin you could have missions with commando units sneaking into ports, blowing up ships etc or become sniper units... Battling for the cities would work just as well as in medival scenarios, just more advanced, artillery fire instead of catapults, watchtowers would be bunkers and so on...

Looks pretty good BUT I want them to fix Total War II first! I'm not entirely sure why they pulled the 1.2 patch - but I suppose the good news is that this new episode isn't due out until well into 2007 is it? Sounds to me like they are putting plenty of time aside for this.
