Medusa Microphone issues

I have a set of the original medusa's with amp and one day my mic suddenly stopped working. I tested my Gamevoice mic and that worked fine, so I pretty much ruled out a sound card or driver issue.

Out of curiosity I test my other medusa's that I broke the head band on (but still work the last time I used them), and that mic doesn't work either. Now is that a weird coincidence that both medua's mic's broke at the same time, or is it a different issue?

I have tested this on XP 32 and Vista 64 using the latest drivers for my Creative X-Fi Fatal1ty Pro.

Has anyone encountered the same issue or is there anything else I can do to test? I really would like to get the mic working again if possible.

I had the exact same issue on my first pair of medusas about 2 years ago. RMA'd them back to OcUK, as still under warranty, and they replaced them with no issue. Havent had the same problem since.

Cheers for the reply. I was thinking last night that maybe it is the amp that's the problem because both Medusa's mic's aren't working, and the Gamevoice is separate from the amp, that's why it works. I don't have another amp to test with though to confirm.
