Meet the Beasts

Absolutely fine thanks, pain in the arse but that's Bengals for you as you probably know ;)

are your 2 doing well ?
Yes thanks there usual scatty selfs, they wrestle half the time as well as being mischievous.:DThe new craze at the moment is lets shag ^TANK^'s arm until he wakes up at night. :(

Your cats are awesome, they will surely grow to be big and strong and if you let them off the leash catch many birds and mice for you. :p

Who ever mentioned getting a Maine **** then they are amazing cats but need constant grooming, and you spend half your life taking hairs off you clothes. Oh and they look like the size of a small house next to a 'normal' kitty.

I'm definitely getting a Maine **** one day. I have two very fluffy moggies ATM, and I imagine that combined they have a similar surface area to one MC. So I'll have one Maine ****, and something that doesn't shed fur to keep it company, like a crocodile or something.

Westyfield2 - your bengals look lovely. :) Don't blame you for keeping them in TBH. My moggies hate the snow. I took my cat out last night and plonked him down into the snow, which went over his head. Poor sod didn't know which way to go and went mad running all over the place until he realised he could use me as a beacon to direct him back indoors. :D.

Ive got 4 kittens and im wondering if two of them have a bit of maine **** in them. Out of the 4 kittens, 2 are extremly fluffy :p and are much bigger than the other two. One of them is basically the size of its mum already lol and the kittens are 5~ months old.

Tahoe decided tonight that he'd like to be in the Lasagne.

Gay cat?:D

Joking aside, they look very healthy and the fur looks amazing.

Re cost

TY for all the beautiful comments. They are pretty fine looking even if I do say so myself .

To those asking about cost, all I'm gonna say is "no comment" :p.

Round here, any pedigree kitten or puppy is about £500. I did see an advert for F4 Savannah kittens at £500 in the local paper, but that's the lowest I've seen them for. Whether that breeder was someone you'd want to buy from, or a ***** in a caravan, I don't have a clue. I can't help but presume that there is a reason why they're cheaper than the others.

A UK breeder to look at is Strawbell Pedigree Cats, www.strawbellcats.co.uk, and a US breeder to look at is A1 Savannahs, www.a1savannahs.com. I believe that both of those give ball-park figures online.

Re the leash, yeah. The cats are insured for their full value, but money isn't the point. We'd be devastated if anything happened to them. I'm sure they'd appear when hungry, and they do come when called, but the problem is they're just so damn curious. Curiosity killed the cat anyone!? Perhaps once they're a bit older and more sensible...

Whats the biggest house cat you can get? Serval?
Some people have been known to keep Servals as house pets . Here in the UK you need a wild cat license for a Serval, an F1 Savannah or a F2 Savannah. An F3 Savannah is the first generation that you don't need a license to own. Heck in Australia an F5 Savannah is the first that's legal in the country whatsoever.

Thats where I'm looking to nab a pair of male F3 Savahnnah, to accompany my two Bengals at some point

Some crazy mofo's in the states have a lynx or mountain lion as pets, check Youtube out.
