Meguire's Claybar

Had nothing todo this afternoon so i decided to try the Meguires Claybar kit. Did the whole car and then NXT waxed it and i'm really pleased with the results. The paintwork now feels like glass, pictures are below!

Sorry about the quality of pictures, had to use my parents camera as i have no batteries in mine.

haha, he's not nakid, thats my dad! :eek:

Theres not to many swirls on the car really, but i think a PC polish would really finish it off!

Just washed mine and a bit of NXT on the wheels to help keep the brake dust off, you can use the clay and wax anywhere on the car

I dont really have an issue with swirl marks on a silver car but with a claybar and wax theres no polishing element that will polish out swirls so ideally you want that after the claybar sesssion.

Ive only done half my car so far with *** bar but that side stays cleaner, is easier to clean off and then wipe and dry with a chamois, well worth the initial effort.

The clio is looking very nice for an old motor :cool:

I need to learn how to use my clay bar as I'm not comfortable rubbing on the paint.. Plus on my yellow LC it takes a lot of elbow grease

It should glide smoothly, if it doesn't, you're not using enough lubrication (oooeerrr missus)

Ok I'll spray more on next time.. Didn't know how much was enough particularly as all this car cleaning stuff isn't cheap. I've get a lot of Megs stuff and it's

I always have a bucket of water next to me whilst claying to use in conjunction with the Lubricant - which i dab my hand into several times and sprinkle water along with the lubricant to keep the surface nice and moist. Makes the bottle last longer!
