I'm gonna build a 3700x rig and I'm stuck on choosing memory.

I'm choosing between 16x2 G.skill 3600 Cl16 Neo Hynix with 16-19-19-39 timings VS 16x2 Ballistix Sports LT 3200 Cl16 Micron E with 16-18-18-36 timings. Which one do you think would be easier to get to a 3733 sweetspot with cl16 and the best timings?

I've actually ordered the G.skill Neo, but will change to Ballistix if you think it will get better timings with 3733.

Thanks!

siliconlottery im afraid
lots of us are having good results with e-die
but that's luck of the draw

clearly price plays a (semi) important role as well...i'm assuming that gskill gouge ram is an extra £40-50 more than the e-die?

Yeah, I know about the silicon lottery, but I've seen so many now who insist Micron Rev-E is a better choice than Hynix CJB so I decided to trust that and changed my order from Hynix to Micron E. I think I psychologically chose G.skill Neo because of 3600 instead of 3200 and because of the price (they must be better).

The G.skill Neo 3600 Hynix (F4-3600C16D-32GTZNC) costs 230 EUR.

The 3200Mhz Ballistix Sports (BLS2K16G4D32AESB) with Micron Rev-E on the other hand only cost 180 EUR, so not only are they (likely...hopefully) better than the 3600 Hynix, but they are also cheaper.

There is the G.skill Neo 3600 with Samsung B-die (F4-3600C16D-32GTZN), but they cost 370 EUR.
