Properly looking into my next car now, currently stuck on porsche boxster s (01 plate) or nissan 350z (04 plate)

a friend mentioned a c32 benz last night (an e46 m3 is not gonna be in budget without spending an age trying to get a good un)

quite rare, rapid, obviously not as good as an m3.

anyone driven one? expensive to run (relative to the cars above)?
 
Don't get a duff AMG barge, fast on the autobahn, but then so is any other MB with a big six. Get a 350Z.

It'll have a V8 ;)

I like them - seem to be a lot cheaper to buy than the M3s too. They're more autobahn stormers than track wonders, but I imagine they'll still be a hoot to drive - particularly with an AMG V8 under the bonnet. Good looking cars too.

To be fair, I doubt a C32 is much heavier than 350z - a 350z is heavier than my diesel family saloon :eek:.
 
C32, no.

It's taken Merc ages to get the AMG C Class right. They've finally managed it with the new C63. The earlier efforts are poor. It will be faster than your 530i but thats all it'll be thats better.
