Meteor lights up sky in South Africa!

It's interesting there's been such an increase of these, in fact it's only within the last few years these kind of videos have been turning up, i think perhaps we're entering an area of space in the galaxy where more of these asteroids are flying about, that or theres a gravity disturbance going on causing more asteroids to enter the inner solar system.

No we are entering an age where almost every inch of this planet is under the watchful eye of a camera or two.

Or because of greater global inter-connectivity whereby different sides of the planet can easily communicate about such events? Just a theory...

Great vid, added that to my list of things I need to do/experience before I die.

yeh, that, or more people have video capable mobile phones and access to the internet...

Yep thats also a possibility but you must consider the fact we've had cctv cameras everywhere for more than just the last few years, im leaning more toward increased extraterestrial activity as there's been a few interesting events in recent years, like that comet that exploded, alienments, solar activity, somethings up.
