MGS HD Collection on Xbox worth playing??

Mgs is poor, and your trolling is also. You have a problem if you can't deal with opinions that conflict with your own without resorting to childish behaviour. Grow up the lot of you.

Must admit the story of MGS is pants and I'm a fan. Not too fussed about the story to be honest I just like to be able to control snake and go stealthing about.

I love the graphics the game play the voice acting and the soundtrack. Xbox owners should be greatfull that they get to finally play the MGS Games.

Primarily a PC gamer I only bought a PS3 to play MGS4. Admittedly MGS4 drags on a bit with the cut scenes and dosent really tie up the story very well its still a blast to play.

I get the impression with the MGS games is that they design the game and make the levels that tack the story on at the end.:D

Still good fun though.

I ordered the HD collection yesterday for the 360. Looking forward to playing them again. I played through MGS on my PSP not long ago, but haven't played 2 or snake eater in years.

Even though I love them, I still haven't played 4 though, due to not having a PS3. I wish they would release 4 on 360!

Gonna be the first time I have turned my 360 on in 18 months!

I loved MGS2 the first time round, I bought it on release day and must have discovered every secret there was,

I bought the HD collection hoping to relive those memories and I can barely play the game, The controls are horrible and the story and villains are laughable, MGS4 is a masterpiece but 2 is much better left in the past

kdd's trolling is of epic proportions in this thread. At first I raged, but as I read more I lol'd.

Anyways, MGS3 is one of the most epic games ever made. MGS2 is also awesome, and Peace Walker was probably one of the best handheld games I ever played so the fact it's in this collection is all the more awesome. Just make sure you've played MGS1 before going to 2.

Get a life man.

Mine has just arrived, I might start MGS2 later. Interested to see what they have done with Peace Walker, which I played on PSP

Not used my 360 in 18 months, and about 6 months ago my account was hacked so I spent ages sorting it out at the time. Now I am jumping through hoops trying to recover my account!!!

I played Snake Eater to death when it was first release and I never knew that! I started it just now and it has made a big difference. HD makeover is brilliant as well

I am going to play Snake Eater first, as MGS2 did feel a little dated with the awful camera angle(I did the tanker mission earlier). I still remembered every word of the cutscenes though:o

I wish MGS was included:((though I very recently played it on the PSP anyway)

Got this from lovefilm last week. Played through Metal Gear solid 2 and thought it was still pretty top notch even though the controls feel a bit clunky at times. Especially the sensitivty on the sniper rifle when doing the covering fire at the bottom of the oil rig mission. Those issues aside I forgot how preachy and cut scene every 5 seconds it was but enjoyed replaying it none the less.

Never played MGS3 before and kind of hate it. Not really a fan of the story, characters, setting or anything really. Its a bit of a chore to get through but I'm endeavouring..

Anyone got an opinion on Peace Walker? After not enjoying MGS3 Im thinking of skipping it and sending it back when I finish the story. Having said that it seems completely different and more mission based?

Opinions welcome.

I thought MGS2 had aged a little badly. I started it, but went on to Snake Eater, I might go back to it when I have finished that

Snake Eater is stunning as always, best MGS by far and the HD makeover is great. I forgot how brilliant it is, I am playing it atm and really enjoying it. Loving the over-the-shoulder view which I haven't seen before.

I played Peace Walker on PSP and it was ok, though the vehicle battles are a massive pita grind.
