Although Merc seemed quick I still think they’ll be 0.7s down off pole.

They were losing almost 0.4s in sector 1 alone compared to Ferrari and I don’t think any team were running their engines at full tilt.

Merc currently 0.9s off after Q1. They’ve not found any pace

They were the third fastest team at the start of the season but had slipped back considerably by Imola. Getting back to being the third fastest team is probably quite an achievement!

You could see the floor of the Merc hitting the ground shortly before the chicane which completely unloaded the car and caused Russell to lose it.

Looks like the set up is all over the place.
