Micro ATX Mobo for Core 2 Duo

I'm not sure if there are any available at the moment but I'm sure there will be plenty as the conroe is a very low power/low heat cpu so perfect for micro PCs.

For a SFF type PC? Yes  ^
  • Asrock Conroe945G-DVI (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard (MB-004-AK) £45.99
  • Asus P5B-VM Micro ATX (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard (MB-176-AS) £79.99
  • Asus P5VD2-MX Micro ATX (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard (MB-163-AS) £37.99
Take your pick :)

Jesus dude I said I wasn't sure not that there weren't any. I just didn't have the time to check at that time so I gave the guy a bit of hope and his thread a bit of a bump so someone with the time could come up with a list of possibilities like you did.

abit SG-95
IP-95 should be available any day now (iirc they were due to abit UK last Friday but that might also have been the IL-9)

which out of that lot is the best overclocker?

I dont think any of the matx boards are great clockers.
There is lots of info on matx boards here:

http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17619432&page=1&pp=30

I currently have a Asus P5b-VM and the max Stable fsb i can get out of it is 315 if i increase the PCI-E bus frequency to around 115(cant remember exact number off hand). I did get it up 325 but was far from stable so i backed it off.

If your not interested in overclocking then i think its a good solid matx board and i think it is still the only one that supports ddr2 800 memory, even if it cant supply it enough voltage....sigh
Im suprised that the new abit doesnt!

I was interested in overclocking so this was my first and last matx board so im going to get a "proper" motherboard and get my system up to its potential. Not that im bitter at all.
