ok i just found out that microphone isnt working in a fresh X64 XP installation. Sound card is Audigy 2ZS with the latest drivers . All updates from MS are installed too.
Weird is if i change the plug from MIC to LINE IN at the back of the sound card it works , but the system doesnt recognize it as a microphone . has anyone come to a solution with this issue?
