Microsoft Expert Zone.. and windows 7 offer

Hi

I sure many of you were aware that the m$ expert zone was offering windows 7 ultimate for £11.50 that included a goodie bag. Well I was late to the party and now it seems that I can only get a windows 7 home premium for £30.00 , and I know its still better than paying full price for windows 7, but what I'm wondering is how likley are they gonna put another windows 7 ultimate offer up rather than spend my points on a verison that I don't want?

Grab it whilst you can, Ultimate frankly doesn't give you much that you'd probably need over Home premium unless you need it on a domain, RDP and backup.

I run pro, only because I wanted RDP/Backup, otherwise I'd have both PCs on Home premium.

Only reason you're in this situation is that you didn't bite when the feeding frenzy started, it's unlikely MS will start flogging the OS cheaper now that it's released, prices are likely only to go up and that includes special deals getting more expensive, not cheaper.

I hear you and I really should have done the course while it was ultra rather than home prem, instead of playing facebook poker. Unfortunately I do use RDP and would rather have the Windows XP Mode just in case for backup.

I'm still in two minds to get it or not, as the chances are that I will just leave it unopen in my draw, but like you I'll most likely get the pro edition.
