Taking a while to update.
Reminds me of Apple. Like Metal.
Just having play with Windows 11 on my clean SSD and so far no bugs but some of the features has gone including windows activation status (where is it?)
Found it now! It say Activated with digital license
Insider version installed, and other than the GUI the most noticeable changes are the lack of changes you can make to the taskbar
Can we download the iso? Cant seem to find it. Thanks.
Looks like it's just OTA.
Installed eventually, so far so good.
Have they managed to fix the customisation of the lock screen so you can actually have weather updates on it?
Thank you good sir.
You can download a UUP file and convert to iso I believe
Installing this now on a VM
Where can I find this mate? Thank you.
The notepad and mspaint has gone! Windows 11
Would you be willing to see if this working, to get back the classic MS Paint ? Just curious if it still be working on WIn11, although personally wont be switching until late 2024 so by then probably many other discarded app that can be 'reinstalled' through 3rd parties.
Get Classic Paint back in Windows 10 Creators Update
Those looking for the newest build can find it on UUP dump. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to link to it or not, but just Google the site name and it's the first result for me.
There are two x64 versions, so I don't know which to choose. Can somebody help?
Windows 11 Insider Preview 10.0.22000.51 (co_release) amd64
Cumulative Update for Windows 11 (10.0.22000.51) amd64
Looks like it's Windows 11 Insider Preview 10.0.22000.51 (co_release) amd64, as Windows 11 (10.0.22000.51) amd64 has missing files.
I just updated a Win 10 Pro VM from windows update(Dev insider) Windows 11 Insider Preview 10.0.22000.51 (co_release)
I have just enabled "Intel Platform Trust Technology (PTT)" in the bios and win10 says.......... yey, Im sorted for win11 and its going to be a free upgrade too apparently
Not surprised, but my under £10 official Asus TPM discreet chip I ordered a few days back has "been delayed".
Seriously doubt I'll get it at all at the price I paid, but we'll see. Looks like I'll just have to use the firmware TPM on my ROG Z390 after all.
Are there are any downsides to using the firmware TPM? I ask as I'll probably end up doing this.
One thing I really like in Windows 11 is that the stupid shake to minimise Windows is disabled out of the box. One of the most ridiculous and annoying features in Windows that I'm glad to see turned off.
