I cannot wait for this, loved everything to do with AP, classic comedy!

In August 2010, it was reported than Alan Partridge would make a comeback series online for lager giant Fosters....here it is!

Episode 1 Live - 5th November

Yes folks the North Norfolk rumour mill is true. Alan Partridge is back exclusively at Foster’s.

In Alan’s own words:
‘I am delighted to announce that after years as a regional broadcaster on North Norfolk Digital my groundbreaking radio segment, Mid Morning Matters, will now be accessible to a potential audience of billions via the World Wide Web (www).

That it has taken Foster’s to help realise my dream of joining the information superhighway is a damning indictment of the established broadcasters whose shabby treatment of me on Sept 10th 2001 was frankly shabby. I made dozens of calls the next day, all of which were ignored.

My appreciation must go to Armando Iannucci and Baby Cow for ignoring the lies, god bless them. In the meantime I look forward to “hanging out ‘n’ chillin” with the MySpace generation.’

Alan Partridge is returning with a new show - and Billie Piper finds herself at the wrong end of one of the radio host's quips. Skip related content

In the first of 12 11-minute episodes, Alan - who is assisted by younger DJ Simon, with whom he claims to have "great banter" - tells his North Norfolk Digital listeners: "I like her face. She has a very round cherubic face, rather like a Victorian doll that's somehow been re-animated.

"Say what you like about Billie Piper - but she is the most popular prostitute on ITV."

In another episode, Alan hosts a phone-in to find the greatest ever person from Norfolk, with Horatio Nelson challenged by Delia Smith.

In one of his typical asides, he says: "You'll recall that at the top of the show that someone phoned in to say that you can avoid Type 2 diabetes by injecting yourself with Ribena. That can't be right - but no one as yet has called in to debunk that. If you want to please do do so."

Other episodes include Alan confronting an Alan Partridge imposter on Twitter, and in another, Alan - who is waiting for guest Anthea Turner - meets a man campaigning to reduce childhood obesity through cycling.

The shows - written by original creator Armando Iannucci - will appear on www.fostersfunny.co.uk from November 5.

I find him really hit and miss. I loved him growing up but now my tastes have matured and I see lots of the jokes are a bit rubbish. When it's good, though, it's really, really good.

I don't see the point of anyone coming into a trhead just to say "ignore"

Alan Partridge was great, the Christmas special episode especially where he tried to shoehorn lots of things about Rover in so he would get a free car! :D

I'll have to watch these when I can as I'm posting from my phone right now...
