I'm too paranoid about my Steam account to use contacts like that.. far too much money sunk into that account.

Probably - they're obviously legit and he's doing it on steam itself. I added him as a friend and then chatted to him to make sure I was ok with the deal. Because I was on a browser (work) he had to gift the game to me but it all happened in about 3 minutes and i paid via paypal. He knows we UK folk get gouged on pricing on steam (hence why we're all using people like GMG, right?).
Don't mind paying for games but the pricing needs to be sensible..

Also I'll check some youtube footage later, hopefully without too many spoilers, but can people comment on the POV/FOV? I get severe migraines from certain engines/games, especially ones that have lots of action from the point of view of the protagonist, and with lots of hand actions just infront of the viewpoint, lots of bob and other "realistic" movements etc. Is it that sort of game?

If I run high it does the same it just tanks every now and again to 30fps for no real reason. Assassins Creed did the same.

With the Ultra textures on at 1440p it maxes my 4gb V-ram constantly but as it uses what you have this would be normal.

Do we know what engine this uses? Completely proprietary?

Assassins Creed only recently started to make use of multi-threading. Even AC3 needs a silly amount of single threaded CPU power.

AC: IV made strides, but it's still not a great engine IMO.

Not really it looks a bit sharper. It's a nice looking game but not the greatest. The combat is good though they seem to have combined batman and Assassins creed and it works really well.

It doesn't support SLI yet but still runs anywhere from 60-100 fps on the single GTX 780 it uses.

Got problems with mine, running CF290X obviously only using 1 card at this point, maxed settings 10FPS in benchmark, any ideas?
