Have you created a custom profile in CCC? Set xfire to AFR Friendly and it should be ok. THose frames seem really low for 1 card though. I was getting 45-50 on a single 7970, so a single 290x should do much better.

Playing fine here, the auto settings seemed to put everything on High apart from the textures which were medium... I left them at that and the benchmark averaged 30fps on my system.

Playing the game was nice and smooth, might see what happens if I go up to High on textures.

So I overclocked my 290X as it's running on it's own and I benched 40FPS maxed out at 4k, surprisingly smooth for 40fps perhaps one of them games where 30fps+ is all you need.
 
I've only played the intro missions but on my lowely Pentium K with xfire 6950 it runs pretty well at 1080p on it's auto settings, pretty much solid 60fps so far. According to MSI Afterburner it seems to be using both my gpus as well?
 
Don't you hate it when you attack a captain and another group comes along and you die lol.

I attacked another group as well and it had about 7 captains in it and they all got promoted.
 
I'm getting some big performance drops on this with a 980. I have set everything to medium but it drops down to 30fps nearly all the time it makes it horrid to play. It feels sluggish and laggy.

It does not seem to do it when there is a lot going on just randomly.

Disabling V-sync helps but it looks horrendous and tears badly.

It's a shame as it seems ok but the FPS drops are too bad for me to play.
