yeah jp that's with the ultra textures. I run out of vram if I crank the downsampling up but at 3440x1440 theres no need to do that.
 
Id say the game looks pretty awesome too for an open world game....

Cool, on my holiday system which has the 3440x1440 LG and a 290X so should be good :D

Not sure what was in that HD pack as I could already select Ultra textures before installing it, could be cut scenes or something I guess.


Edit: Ah apparently if you don't have the pack installed when you select Ultra it isn't really Ultra.

Make sure you get it here and it shows up in your DLC list:

Apparently if you selected Ultra before downloading the pack it would still only be high textures.
I think it says that in the options.

Even with this HD content thing installed I don't think it is the Ultra HD textures.

I get the same average FPS on Ultra and High in the benchmark.

I do not have the HD pack under steam and under DLC I just get the season pass ?

Not sure if it is installed on it's own or not tbh ?
 
Seems to be making a difference now but I have to reload the game when changing from High to Ultra, average FPS drops from 52 to 47 between the two settings.

Hmm well I don't know then, all I did was click that install button and it showed up in Steam, as you can see from my DLC window screenshot the HD Content is there and installed.

Don't know why it isn't working for you, anyone else try it?
 
Steam has probably messed up on the ultra pack nonsense as a lot of folks can't see it inc me - not that I can run it yet. Should get sorted soon, although players will no doubt beat Valve to it.

Picked up the Premium Edition, bought, paid, received key and I'm preloading now; no issues whatsoever. I was hoping to pick it up cheap as I saw it for Steam Gift from Kinguin for a similar price but I don't like buying gifts due to the banning.
 
Getting bad V-sync problems with this now. Does not matter if it's high or Ultra. It will lock to 30 Fps then jump to 60 then drop again. Turning V-sync off it just tears badly.

Is there a way to fix this without spending £600 on a G Sync monitor. :)

Trying to adjust the settings in the Nvidia control panel causes it to stop responding ??
