I don't care how the microtransactions are used, for battle packs or big game changing items - it's a terrible practice and I won't support it. I'm not going to hand over £50 for a game that wants you to pay even more to unlock extra content early on.

It's the principle.

It went from pre order worthy to I'll buy it when it's dirt cheap

He's right though. The way this is all going is pretty ******. Kind of puts you off a bit. I find myself looking more and more to wait for a goty edition than buy into this crap early on.

I only picked up Shadow of Mordor GOTY last month fo a tenner. Really enjoying it and it's not diminished in the slightest by having been out a while.

Bright Lord is quite fun and a darker atmosphere. Plus it is a bit harder since Celebrimbor cannot be levelled up in health.
