Hey,

Just bought a Behringer BCD 3000. Installed Traktor LE. Got the stereo connected (re&white) to the mixers Master Output. For some reason the controller isn't reacting at all and the sound is really badly distorted when i press play from the PC.

How do i get it to work in conjunction with Traktor LE? Some settings i need to adjust or what?

Cheers.

did it not come with drivers ? since it works as a soundcard there should atleast be some drivers for that id reckon ? quality wise you will have to mess with settings in tracktor. for a start make sure its using that as the main soundcard if its what your going to use and then maybe other stuff might need adjusting

anyway control wise it will need mapping with tracktor or at the very least (depending wether there is deafault maps in LE or not) it needs selecting under 'controller-manager ' in the tracktor preferences

edit- just checked and on the pro version of tracktor and to set it up:

go to that controller preferences pane , then click add , then import , then default mappings , then theres mappings for loads of makes of controllers in a folder, the BCD3000 is there on mine

Sounds like you have two issues, first the audio device is not configured correctly and secondly you need to configure the controller.

Just to add to the above advice, in the 'audio setup' tab make sure you have the correct device selected, some configurations use 'ASIO' as opposed to your main soundcard. Also check the audio latency, try raising it as it may be set too low which I know can cause distortion.

If traktor LE does not have the default mappings as standard for the Behringer then try to find the .tsi or .tsk files online (depending on which version of Traktor you are using)

Cheers guy, will take a look when I get hope tonight. As for the latency, I did try up it last night but it wouldn't let me increase it and was stuck on 11.5.

Ok guys, no idea what to do. I dont have Traktor Pro, only Traktor LE, tink they are different aint they? I have no idea where to put a midi map? Also, no idea where to set up my outputs etc with Traktor. Help :P. I also have Virtual DJ, dont mind using either. Everytime i load VDJ i just get Error in ASIO driver. Uninstalled the driver but still comes up. An other driver i try also says error. Have also installed and uninstalled VDJ and still get errors. Totally stressing out here.

edit: sorted out the driver problem, now the lights work on the controller but the software still doesnt track the controller.

Just install the drivers> plug it in > open up traktor > preferences > ....

... audio setup > make sure bcd300 is selected.
... output routing > make sure output master has bcd channels 1+2. then make sure output monitor is bcd3+4

Download the .tsi file off this page..... http://raritiesvault.net/bcd3000/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=8 ....... you then need to go back within traktor > prefrences > controller manager > select import at the bottom and load the .tsi file you have just downloaded. It should then ask you what files want to be imported. select all of these then everything should be fine.

edit.... the errors you may be having in virtual dj may be that you've not setup the controller properly or that your soundcard driver need updating. Try downlaoding the http://www.asio4all.com/ driver and see if it just works coming out of laptop/pc speaker.

I have traktor pro and have twice as many sub menus and I thought it would be the same. Is there anything within the control manager sub menu?

Yea i can but still no import button. As soon as i click off preferences it goes back to default Generi Keyboard
