PSV vs Liverpool, 19:45
AC Milan vs Bayern Munich, 19:45

Wednesday:
Roma vs Manchester United, 19:45
Chelsea vs Valencia, 19:45

Thursday:
AZ v Werder Bremen, 19:45
Bayer Leverkusen v Osasuna, 18:00
Espanyol v Benfica, 19:45
Sevilla v Tottenham, 19:45

Saha and Fletcher have travelled, but Park hasn't. My guess at our lineup would be:

VDS
O'Shea
Brown
Ferdinand
Heinze
Ronaldo
Carrick
Scholes
Giggs
Rooney
Solskjaer/Smith

I cant imagine Saha starting, but if he does it'll be in place of Solskjaer/Smith. We'll probably go 4-5-1 for the majority of the game with Rooney out wide and Giggs stepping inside.

It isn't very often I want an English club to lose in Europe, but if Chelsea got knocked out it'd be brilliant :D

Come on Roma :D

Hopefully Totti will be on fire tomorrow.

Well he's been running his mouth off to the press so hopefully our players will put the little scumbag in his place. Giggs to be the key man. Always does well against the italian teams.

What scores would you settle for guys? Personally I'd be happy with a draw in Roma, but a draw with goals, it's important to get an away goal. I hope we play well because I can see them targetting Rooney to get him wound up.

Id actually rather go out now than have to play the mancs in the final.

Should be a good game tonight, esp as im there  We need a win tonight, 2-1 or a 1-0 will do nicely.

Well the thing about Roma is that their home game against Lyon they sat back and made sure they didn't concede. They didn't go out all blazing trying to win at home. Then the second leg in Lyon, they went all out against a Lyon team who were playing really badly and made sure they got away goals. I can probably see the same tactic against us. The thing with Man Utd in Europe, is that I don't know what gameplan we'll have, in the league we are on top form again, but once a European game comes up we change. If we are going out I'd rather we went out playing the free flowing attacking football from all angles of midfield than playing that poor defensive 4-5-1 tripe we often see in Europe.

I think we should go 4-4-2 and just attack Roma. Blackburn at the weekend showed how difficult it is to stop that sort of onslaught and they're a team who won't lay down for anyone. If we did that to Roma, I'm confident they would fold.

A lot of talk about Joe Cole being available tomorrow but I think it's just a smokescreen. I hope I'm wrong as we really need him now Robben's gayed off again and Valencia look like a really strong side at the moment.

JC was saying he will be happy if he gets 10-15 minutes tonight so i dont think we will see much of him anyway
