I ordered an item on the net that had been mis-priced at about a third of it's correct price, I was half expecting to receive an e-mail canceling the order and the day after I did, now I would not normally moan about this as it is there right to cancel this order due to the mis-price but it is also my understanding that if they have taken the money as this company did then they have to honour the order is this not the case?

Please look at the various other threads on this subject.
Short answer - no, they don't have to sell you the item at the advertised price.

When a price is wrong online there are only two occasions when you are going to get it at the reduced rate.

1. Before they realise what has happened they have dispatched the item out to you - at this point they are not allowed to take further payment from you.
2. They decide to honour the lower price (unlikely).

According to my online bank statement they have taken the money at the mis-priced amount and it is also in my overdraft so I am actually paying interest on it.
