Missing Bristol woman confirmed murdered

I doubt we'll ever know if he really intended to kill her or not - given the hysteria around the case from the very start I think it was impossible to get an impartial jury in this case.
Well, given the kind of pornography he was into and his internet research about body decomposition and sentences for manslaughter, if I had to place my chips...

What has the porn got to do with it, it's hardly that abnormal, plenty watch it and it's not really violent and is unlinked to the other stuff. Doesn't change his guilt or that he's deluded. But media loves spin.
I bet 99% of us have "violent" porn on are systems. Even if we've started watching and then turned it off and searched for something with out strangling or slapping in it.

Because it becomes very ABNORMAL when you realise what else he was looking up and planning. Clearly he got a kick out of strangling women and planned to do it to this woman's death.

I don't see why you're pretending to be naive about it - the porn might be fine in isolation but it is downright creepy considering the character.

Sentence was life, minimum 20. Maybe somebody could override that, but the sentence as stated is that it's 20 years before anyone even considers early release ("early" being while he's still alive).
I know being found guilty of murder is an automatic life sentence, I was just conjecturing as to the actual number of years he'll serve.

I didn't say anything about snuff movies.

Exactly, how does a bit of BDSM equal snuff, most people have a fetish these days, its unfortunate his might of been linked to him committing this crime, but it hardly indites all porn that isn't missionary and with nothing but soft focus gently precious love making and unwavering affection involved.

im glad he got locked up..

as for the porn, i my self hate violent porn and dont get anyone that would be into it. its sick, distasteful, wrong, and probably breeds rapists and people like this..

obviously their will be a lot of people that watch it and are in their everyday life, normal and would never hurt anyone but imo, their is something wrong with them in the head..

its on a par with kid porn, animal porn.

So now there will be more calls to ban all sexual content on the internet in order to protect women, because there are anti-porn campaigners low enough to see the murder as a tool they can use to promote their own agenda. Most of them, probably. They're not nice people.

Already been done by that wacko Liz Longhurst.
