Missing Photo's

Hi all, I'm a bit of a beginner at photography, I have just bought a Panasonic TZ6 and a new 2gig sandisk SD to go with it, I started using it last week and was flicking through the photo's on the camera and I noticed that about four are showing as a blank screen on the camera.

Is this a problem with the card, I take it I have lost the photo's, they weren't anything special but i don't want this to keep happening.

Just a standard SanDisk SD

Hmm, sandisk should be ok, I've had some dodgy cards in the past, which resulted in black photo's on the camera, and they were unreadable when copied to the PC.

Not sure what I can suggest really, are you sure you're not turning the camera off before it's finished saving the pic?

Yea camera is staying on. Infact I neglected to mention, the photo's were on the card and viewable the night they were taken. However, it was the day after, switching it on and taking a few more and then reviewed and the photos were blank.

Test out the card in your PC.

Format it, make an archive around 1.5gb, make some par files from the archive, copy the lot to the drive, then verify the pars.

Sorry not sure how to make par files or what they are :s The photo's are visible on the pc tho, then when i put the card back in the camera they are black. its as if the camera cant read the photo that it took!!
