Missing SMS menu from W800

Just got hold of a W800 on Orange and a PAYG sim card but the "Write New" menu is missing the text message option. All I have is Picture message and voice message.

Any ideas how I get them back?

You need to set the service centre number I think.

Select 'Menu'
Scroll and select 'Messaging'
Scroll and select 'Settings'
Scroll and select 'Text message'
Select 'Service centre'
Select 'Add'
Enter number

In messaging I don't have a text menu, only got

Okay, you need to ring orange CS and ask for a Sim Update. They'll send you 1-3 text messages. If you're asked whether to install new settings, hit yes for each one.

Then reboot the phone
