I am still learning, so I open to comments and criticism (as long as it's contrustive!! ;))

That's some fantastic work. Shot 1 is my favourite with 5 a close second.

Would have liked to have seen more of the front end in 7, looks like it's been cropped, and 11 may have benefited from the car being in the centre of the shot, but they're really minor things.

Beautiful car too.

^Thanks.

Yeh 7 was cropped a bit. I was in a bit of a rush when I took it and I didnt frame the shot perfectly, so I had to fix it by resizing it and cropping it in photoshop :(

Great shots and well lit, out of #1 & #6 I'd keep #1

Maybe a bit more lighting on grill in #7 and maybe a polariser on #2 (the tree reflection is distracting)

#3 would look better from a slightly lower angle so you've got all 4 wheels visible.

What lighting did you use?

#3 #4 #7 are my favourites.

Great shots though. What sort of price range are large lights like yours including the power packs? Can you fire them with cheap ebay triggers? I took a few car photos on saturday and I was using two canon 430ex speedlites which I had to have quite close to the cars all the time which left me shooting ultra wide angle, which works for some shots but really wanted to go a bit more tele for some of them.

I love the purple wall in 12 too.

I'm not sure about the rig shots honestly. They just dont seem as technically impressive as the lighting in the static shots, 7 especially. The soft tones work really well, can't believe you dont shoot through umrellas or soft box.

^ Thanks.
I actually do use the cheap ebay triggers lol! They work a treat! Considering the 'proper' ones cost hundreds, these are a bargain, havent had a problems so far :)

I did bring my umbrellas along, I would never use them for the normal static shots, as they would diffuse the light too much, and weaken the flash effectively. I was going to use them for the detail shots, but I was happy with what I got using them bare.

Thanks again all :)

Are those the RF602 Triggers? I picked up a set (including 3 receivers) for about £40 They work a treat!

Mines a RF604 :) Cant remember how much I paid for mine. I had to buy two sets (a set is one trigger and one receiver), I think it came to about £15 :)

ooh very nice m8 my fav colour too for an evo, excellent shots no 1 my fav any chance of 1,6,8 and 10 hi res for a desktop m8, they would look nice on my 30" tft

also where was 8 taken the ceiling looks low, excellent lighting, looks like a big open space like a car park but too white to actually be a car park, well not any that ive ever seen anyway.

Love all the moving and close up shots, although I find the static shots good, you see the same thing time and time again.
